People and Planning

Our People & Planning team are responsible for supporting the people who make up the heart of our business. They look after everything to do with our people, their working lives and beyond, from recruitment and onboarding, training, staffing and rosters, to occupational health and support.

Our People & Planning team is comprised of Human Resources, Occupational Health, Training, Business Analytics, ID Centre, Workforce Planning and Customer Support, and they work with a range of different stakeholders across the business.

If you are data focused, our Business Analytics team might be for you, where the work they do supports our business decision making. All about customer care? Join our Customer Support team, who are the centralised point of contact for all of our customers across different platforms. Our Training team look after all learning and development for colleagues, and you can find out more about our training offerings here.

Our HR team look after our full employee life cycle, from young people engagement, recruitment & vetting, onboarding, payroll and in-employment management. Everyone at Edinburgh Airport starts their journey at the ID Centre, where they pick up their ID pass. Our Occupational Health team provide health and wellbeing support to allow our people to be the best version of themselves.

Roles in our team

Business Analyst: Responsible for developing operational forecasts, understanding the breadth of business needs and equip decision makers with accurate information.

Customer Support Advisor: Connecting with our customers, across social media, emails and telephone calls, ensuring that their queries, compliments, complaints and feedback are heard.

Workforce Planner: Responsible for ensuring we deploy staff in our operational areas efficiently, and effectively.
