Legal and Compliance
Our Legal and Compliance team is made up of 5 unique teams, who provide regulatory advice for the business on matters relating to Airfield Operations, Security, Data Protection, Environment, Health, Safety, and Quality (EHSQ) and other Legal matters.
As a team, they support the entire business, whether this is safety or security related, working on a variety of projects, preparing contracts or working closely with external regulators.
Legal: The Legal team is here to help the airport, providing an internal resource for business legal advice, including contracts, dispute avoidance and management, and projects.
Security Compliance: The Security Compliance team is independent from our operational team, providing security regulatory support and compliance advise across the business, including HR, training, projects and airport operations.
Environment, Health, Safety and Quality: The Environment, Health, Safety & Quality (EHSQ) team plays a crucial role in ensuring that the airport operates in a safe, efficient, and environmentally sustainable manner. The team is dedicated to safeguarding the well-being of employees, passengers, and the environment while maintaining high standards of quality and compliance.
Data Protection: The Data Protection team ensures that Edinburgh Airport is complying with all data laws, answering any queries about how we handle data.
Airside Compliance: The Airside Compliance team ensure compliance with all regulatory and organisational requirements, ensuring our operation and business partners are operating in line with requirements.
