Edinburgh Airport’s Digital Team is a small, distributed team focused on using technology to create great experiences that help make travel better and to optimise online revenue. Our products include passenger-facing websites, internal tools to help operations run smoothly and efficiently, and our AirportX eCommerce platform, which we are selling to other airports globally as software as a service (SaaS).

About the Recruitment Process
The recruitment process for this role will be a 2 stage interview process. Firstly you will have a short Teams call with our Revenue Manager and another member of our Digital team, to find out more about your background and interest in the role. Successful candidates will then be invited to a second stage interview, which will include competency, values and technical questions.

What you’ll be doing
- Own and manage product roadmap Edinburgh Airport’s digital products, including AirportX, passenger and corporate websites, data and reporting, and other digital products and infrastructure.
- Capture, refine and prioritise requirements, both internally and externally
- Manage the digital pipeline, keeping it up to date with estimates of resources required and delivery timescales.
- Run the weekly planning sessions, ensuring the bi-weekly sprints are kept on track, issues are addressed, and opportunities taken
- Conduct internal stakeholder engagement with teams across Edinburgh Airport, communicating what the digital team can deliver and highlighting key deliverables
- Oversee UAT to ensure high product quality, security and integrity.
- Lead on product compliance, audit & governance
- Own the day-to-day Digital/IT relationship, ensuring both teams work together to maximise the benefit for Edinburgh Airport
- Manage the increasing use of AI in the development process, ensuring product quality as well as productivity gains
- Act as the workstream lead for the annual digital capital papers for AirportX and Digital Apps; track performance against these papers

- Resilient and calm under pressure
- Collaborative, working effectively across both the Digital and Commercial teams, and other teams around Edinburgh Airport
- Detail-oriented, accurate, organised approach to things
Bonus points
- Experience of working in e-commerce
- Experience and awareness of developments in AI and the impact on the world of software engineering
