About the role
Edinburgh Airport is looking for a positive and motivated person to join the Surface Access Team as a Customer Service Advisor. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in the day to day running of the Car Parking estate.
As a Customer Service Advisor, you will be the first point of contact for passengers using the airport’s car parks, delivering friendly and efficient customer service. You will be responsible for responding to infrastructure issues, including barrier malfunctions, payment system faults, and intercom inquiries.
What you’ll be doing
The Surface Access CSA is responsible for supporting the operational framework and delivery of procedures by:
- Action all Standard Operating Procedures as outlined by EAL.
- Operate car park equipment including barriers, CCTV and intercom system, and regulate the entry and exit of vehicles.
- Assist the Team Leader / Duty Manager to ensure security of the car park is maintained.
- Assist with all customer queries ensuring a satisfactory resolution.
- Assist the Operations Manager with any tasks that contribute to the efficient operation of the car park.
- To carry out patrolling and / or cleaning duties as directed.
- To undertake patrols of the car park, both by foot and by use of company vehicle to deter suspicious activity and assist customers.
- To monitor the appearance of the car park, taking action to ensure that company standards are achieved and maintained.
- To ensure compliance with all company Standard Operating Procedures.
- To maintain good communications and consult regularly with the Team Leader / Duty Manager and other car park staff, seeking assistance and contributing to the resolution of outstanding issues.
- To ensure all payments are made and received for car parking services through the application of agreed tariffs.

- GCSE or equivalent in English and Maths
