WFS – Dispatcher

DispatcherPT 23HRS // £8.97 per hour

Role purpose
Coordinateall turnaround processes for the flight assigned, distribute the operationalresources and perform the different tasks related to the load-control, actingas the communication nexus for all ground departments and the crew, controllingall the flight documentation and ensuring a safe and on-time departure. Thedispatcher will ensure the aircraft departs with all passengers and baggageaccounted for, reporting directly to the OPS controller or Duty Manager.

Profile
·Accountable for the on time performance of an aircraft turn – being fully compliant to all company, airline, airport requirements
·Accountable for the efficient coordination with the aircrew – presenting a professional and friendly attitude at all times.
·Leading by example the high standards of safety, operational procedural compliance and team attitude.
·Process all incoming operational messages and forward all operational messages after flight departure (MVT, LDM,Etc.)
·Prepare the pre-flight documentation(WX Forecast, NOTAM, etc.)
·Communicate with operations department via radio before arrival and after departure of aircraft.
·Coordination of all ground services before, during and after flight turnaround (own services, subcontracted and 3rdparties)
·Ensure the efficient communication between the aircraft and all required parties
·Brief the crew about any operational requirement and local regulations and the ground staff about the flight details and specific requirements.
·Ensure the Handling tasks are performed in accordance with the safety, security, environment and quality standards
·Load sheet elaboration and lastminute changes as per final payload data received from the passenger department& cargo terminal and load distribution signed by the team lead
·Perform the Damage check procedure son arrival and departure of aircraft
·Help the ground crew in some of the Ramp tasks (as trained)
·Completion and signature of any former report associated to the activity.
·Control and file all post-flight documentation
·Report any incidence related to the Safety involving passengers, crew, staff, aircraft, baggage, cargo, facilities and equipment, Quality of the service, airport Security, Health & Safety and Environment.
·Drive vehicles airside to providecrew transport to and from aircraft.
·Ensure the segregation and recyclingof all used materials and residues.
·Perform all the tasks describedaccording the company requirements, training received and airport regulations.

EDUCATION:
Certificate of Secondary Education

Fluent local language and fluent English
MS Office main tools

·Driving permit B / DVLA or equivalent
