Salary – £9.79 /hour

Reporting to
· Accounts Manager and their Superiors.

Job Purpose
· The position is a hands on working role inclusive to this job description.
· Assisting the Accounts Manager as per requested to ensure a high standard of overall quality to the client.

Shift Plans & Times
Shifts will operate on a 3 day Rota Friday 3pm to 9pm, Saturday & Sunday 10:30am to 10:30pm (this is subject to change following business needs).

Responsibilities & Duties
The Duty Manager is responsible for the daily cleaning of the terminal and surrounding buildings within our contract with Edinburgh Airport during their period of duty. Achieving high standards, you will ensure the service is operated safely and hygienically on a daily basis.

Main Duties
· Assign duties and working locations to each operative.
· Monitoring and ensuring staff follow correct processes and procedures, ensuring tasks are completed the highest level and cleanliness in maintained.
· Ensure all staff are completing job responsibilities and duties correctly and as per client needs.
· Ensuring the shift is running smoothly and effectively at all times.
· Conduct audits and assisting in client audits when required using e-QSS system.
· Assisting in training and induction processes including toolbox talks.
· Making sure the staff adhere to company policies as laid out in the Company Handbook.
· Basic HR issues eg. Note taking, conducting investigations gathering statements.

. Stock Control and distribution of items to ensure all areas are fully stocked for staff.

Additional Duties
· Responsibility to maintain client communication and interaction to ensure all client needs are met.

Essential Skills
· Previous experience in team leadership/management.· Previous experience in cleaning industry is preferred but not essential.
· Self-Motivated and able to work individually and as a team.
· Calm, efficient, organized and able to work under pressure.
· Flexibility to work.
· Proficient use of English language both verbal and written.
· Must be able to provide a checkable previous 5 year employment history.
· Must be able to provide a DBS Certificate with no allegations or convictions.
